The other day was a particularly testy one and I decided to try the Supernanny’s naughty spot routine. This did not go well. It’s one thing watching those poor parents on a Supernanny episode from the comfort of your lounge room while yelling at the TV “It’s not that hard, just follow through.” Especially when you are childless and therefore have the benefit of being an expert on parenting, as I was when I watched it last.
